Days turned into weeks, weeks into months, and before I could stop to catch my breath, midterms were right around the corner. I'd become much more social since the incident, at least around my friends. I studied for voice acting class with my VA friends, practiced for music by myself, and studied for astronomy with Rita. Gradually I began going back to the melee area to train with Zidane, Bartz, and Tidus. Squall showed up a few times, and he even brought Cloud with him. I also finally got my magic permit, so hopefully I could avoid any accidents like before in the future. Eventually I started to really get the hang of my guns. Since I'm not too fast, I had to learn to be a defensive fighter as well as offensive. I almost completely forgot about the incident, though I knew I'd never fully forget, and neither would Terra.
The studying paid off, and I pa

The next few days were a complete blur. I barely paid attention during classes, I avoided contact with everyone, and I felt like... well that's just it. I didn't feel anything. I didn't feel guilt, regret, or sadness. Nothing made sense. I couldn't eat, I could barely sleep, and everyone's voices were nothing but a garbled mess. Nobody paid much attention to me though. It seemed that Terra hadn't told anyone about what happened. Maybe she was too afraid? Of course. Why wouldn't she be? That look of absolute fear in her eyes. That's the kind of fear that you don't recover from easily. Or maybe at all.
I went through each day on autopilot. I wasn't thinking or doing much of anything. Just following a routine that I'd only established a day ago. However, I was as surpr

I woke up the next morning, still in a crappy mood. I knew that mood would only get worse once I saw that Rita girl again in Astronomy. I groggily showered and did my other morning rituals, after which I noticed that Squall was the only other one awake.
He was working on his computer and seemed pretty intent, so I decided not to bother him. I, of all people, know the value of some good alone time.
I checked my clock and saw I had a good amount of time to spare. So I figured now would be a good time to set up my vocal booth and get some lines done for a few voice acting projects I'd been commissioned for. Yeah, not the best idea. See, while the booth itself reduces echoes remarkably, it's still far from soundproof. And this is all too evident when, at 7 in the morning, while almost everyone else is asleep, I record my lines for a flash game.

Long story short, I took a nap, got woken up violently by Zidane, then groggily followed he and Bartz to the party central. I really need some Zidane-proof locks on my door. Like 10 of them. Booby trapped.
After a few trips through some transporter pads (not a good idea when you're half asleep) I stumbled out into what I could only assume was another dorm room. Only this one was big. I mean huge. There were plenty of people there, but also plenty of room to move around and not too loud.
"Wow, I'm actually impressed." I said, turning my head to the side only to find that Bartz and Zidane were already gone. "Shoulda guessed."
So I decided I would make my rounds of the party and check everything out. I really don't like parties, but I figured since I was here, I might as well try and enjoy myself. So I walked around, taking everything

Walking towards the pavilion, wondering what kind of awesome weapon I'd get, a new voice rang out off to the side.
"Zidane! Hey Zidane! Heeeyyyy!"
What I thought was an overly energetic fangirl of Zidane's turned out to be an overly energetic little kid running towards us.
"Not this brat again." he sighed.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"You'll see." he said grimly.
As the kid came skidding to a halt in front of us, I got the idea.
"Hey Zidane! Hey Tidus! Hey Firion! How was your summer? Did you do a lot of fighting? I did. It was awesome! I fought with
my friends and we went on a big adventure. You should have been there! We got to explore caves, fight monsters, and even fly an
